In order to promote greater Stakeholder awareness and accessibility to information, E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P Limited will, in addition to the formal routes of consultation, make available on its web site Environmental Statements developed in support of its offshore activities.
The Babbage Field is located in UK Continental Shelf Block 48/2a in the southern North Sea. The Babbage Field is a gas field and will be developed through the installation of a fixed, steel- jacket installation. Gas will be exported via a new pipeline tied back to the West Sole system.
The Huntington Field is located in UK Continental Shelf Block 22/14 in the central North Sea. The Huntington Field is a mixed gas and oil field and will be developed through installation of a Floating Production Vessel. Gas will be exported via a new pipeline tied back to the CATS pipeline. Oil will be exported via shuttle tanker.
E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P Limited has prepared these Environmental Statements in accordance with the requirements of the Offshore Petroleum and Pipelines (Assessment of Environmental Effects) Regulations, 2007 (as amended).
